Hmm, about us, huh? Well it all started with me, Kim, the Web mistress
and self-acclaimed computer geek. I was tired of buying computers
from retail shops because they were too slow, too expensive and way too
cluttered with programs that I would never use. I began building
computers for myself, family & friends. I only charged $25 over
my cost, so you can see how much profit I made! ;)
I then caught the soap making
bug, mostly out of necessity due to my oversensitive, fair skin. I
couldn't believe it, the first bar I made was wonderful for my skin...no
more bright red face anymore! It wasn't a pretty sight,
however. It was a citrus-oatmeal in a dolphin mold and ended up an
interesting brown color. I kept at it and made some green tea soap
as a Christmas present for my Uncle who absolutely loved it. He said
what a wonderful gift it was, especially since I made it.
I perfected the
base recipe and sold it at several bazaars and small craft shows. I
completely sold out of soap at my first craft sale. I was inspired
and hooked!
Since then, I have
expanded my line to include all the wonderful products that I have on this
site. I soon realized, however, that this endeavor could not be
accomplished alone. I quickly recruited friends and my Mother to
assist. Now we all share in the inspiration and love of handmade
bath products! Also, I would like to pay special thanks to all those
who have participated in the constant testing of our products. I
hope everyone enjoys the products as much as we enjoy making them!
